As previously mentioned I recently spent a good few days in Wollongong, NSW, attending the Microsoft Game Development Camp. As you may have suspected, this was basically a recruitment exercise by Microsoft throwing shiny baubles and free stuff at a crowded room of starving IT students. That said, who doesn’t like free stuff?
In a week’s time the Microsoft XNA Dev. Camp will be starting in Woollongong, NSW. Being quick on the trigger I managed to snap up some free attendance and free accomodation for myself and my friends, and I needed to fly to Sydney regardless. I mean, in some respects you might say that Microsoft valued us as customers. My friend even commented: “It’s kind of nice in weird way… almost as if they’re saying they like the way our morals and values taste.” To which I could only reply: No, what they’re really saying is:
“I love the way your morals and values feel when I’m inside of them, and you’re going to keep drinking and watch it.”
