Holy shit! I just left a two-handed battle-axe lodged in someone’s groin!
As previously mentioned I recently spent a good few days in Wollongong, NSW, attending the Microsoft Game Development Camp. As you may have suspected, this was basically a recruitment exercise by Microsoft throwing shiny baubles and free stuff at a crowded room of starving IT students. FUZZYEYES,a development studio in Brisbane, has been in the centre of some contraversy of late. According to the staff of the company, everyone (bar the CEO) has been laid off and the company owes millions in unpaid salaries, contractual payments to outsourcing groups, debts to lenders and the government.

Having slain the mighty Translink beast in my epic quest to Gympie, following the feasting and rejoicing, I readied myself this morn’ to once more venture into the barren offices of Halfbrick.
Over the weekend I found myself in Gympie which, for those of you less acquainted with South-Eastern Queensland, is approximately the middle of nowhere. Nevertheless, my Grandma lives there are she’s very dear to me so I thought a visit before Christmas might be in order. Gympie, being the middle of nowhere, and my Grandma not being connected to the water supply let alone the internet, I found myself with spare time.
